The Challenge
As part of a comprehensive expenditure review that the AIB Group (UK) p.l.c. The procurement Team was conducting, mailing and postage were identified as a major area of cost due to the high volume of direct customer communication. Following a strategic review of the banks Postal Estate™, the services of Altus were acquired to support the development, design, and delivery of an integrated mailing strategy.
Solution
Working with the procurement team, Altus undertook a review of the bank’s mailing infrastructure and supported the design, testing, and implementation of a new mailing solution for the bank.
This resulted in enhancing the mailing footprint and delivering significant savings. The new mailing infrastructure currently offers an excellent service, with ongoing development underway which aims to release further efficiencies and savings.
